Alice Colley

Alice is a Berlin based multidisciplinary Artist from London. Her performance works utilize fictional characters to create narratives. Her works call upon humorous and dark aesthetics manifesting themselves through violins, vocals, electronics and theatrical means. Alice is one half of 'The Hellfire Project' and has curated the Berlin based event series 'The Room of Eyes'. In this performance she works with her alter ego 'Lady Plague'. She also teaches classical violin.

20:30 Baal und Mortimer

Baal & Mortimer released her debut album Deixis on Bureau B in June 2020; in April 2021, the EP The Torso Tapes on ITALIC followed. They have worked with Black Merlin, Musiccargo, and Rupert Clervaux and were a mentee of Laurel Halo in the Amplify Berlin program in 2018. With an MA in aesthetics and philosophy, Baal & Mortimer now lives in Berlin, in the spaces between matter and speculation, mimesis and magic, language and body.

21:00 Frankie

Frankie (Franziska Aigner) works at the intersection of music, philosophy and performance. She studied at P.A.R.T.S., the school of choreography and dance in Brussels directed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, and has performed her own work at theatres and festivals across Europe. Frankie worked with the artist Anne Imhof on the performances Deal (2015), Rage (2015), and Angst (2017), as well as FAUST (2017), which was awarded the Golden Lion at the 2017 Venice Biennale. She performed and co-wrote the music to FAUST, which was released as a LP on PAN in 2019. In 2019 she joined Holly Herndon’s vocal ensemble, performing the album 'PROTO' around the world. Frankie continues to work and perform with Anne Imhof, and with artists such as the choreographer William Forsythe and the filmmaker Austin Jack Lynch. In 2020 she completed her PhD at the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy (CRMEP), London on the topic of Kant and Technics. She is currently an instructor in philosophy at the New Centre for Research and Practice.

Laura Not is an artist, dj and web radio host. Since 5 years, she hosts the thematic broadcast (x)=musik on France’s Lyl Radio and curates an eclectic selection of monthly mixes for Sounds Unsaid on the German branch of Dublab. She has composed music for art installations and moving image, and recently released soundscapes on independent labels, such as Kashual Plastik or Konglomerat. Behind the decks, Laura Not likes to call herself a sound-collagist. Her sets are the space in which hybrid sonic sources, entwined in hidden bonds, gather into an idiosyncratic narration.
